About Us

Hey I am Mark Lampley and my wife is Imelda . We are the Lead Pastors here at ELC (Engaging Life Church). Imelda and I were born in North Carolina. We met in Georgia at Emmanuel University. After graduation we were married and began our journey in ministry. Sometime later God gave us a dream to start a life giving church. This would be a church where people could come and find love, acceptance, hope, and find a place where they call home. At the present time we are gathering launch team members who want to make a difference in the world. Join us in making a dream come true!

In December of 2023 a group of dreamers came together with a vision to start a church with a heart to reach those who are far from God in Fayetteville and help them become fully engaged followers of Jesus. The future? The launch of Engaging Life Church.

Since then, this growing community gathers on Sunday and Wednesday evenings to strengthen relationships, strategize, and grow with their faith in preparation for this new movement. Within the Fayetteville metro area there are over 500,000 people many of whom don't know Jesus.

Engaging Life Church will be a place where people of every background can belong as they find Jesus.
